Stacy A. Bacon MD is a board-certified orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon
As a child growing up in San Antonio, native Texan Stacy A. Bacon MD had two goals – to become the best athlete and the best orthopaedic surgeon she could be. Our Cypress orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon fulfilled her first goal by becoming an All-American in the 3000m run in track during her undergraduate education at Rice University. She also graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Bacon accomplished her second goal by studying to become an orthopaedic surgeon at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She finished at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
For her four year orthopaedic residency, Stacy A. Bacon MD attended the University of Colorado, where she received a leadership award for teaching. After residency, Dr. Bacon completed a foot and ankle fellowship at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas, under Jim Brodsky MD and John Early MD.
A board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, she’s also a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Dr. Bacon is a busy woman

Dr. Bacon is still an avid runner and leads a very active lifestyle. She enjoys participating in triathlons, scuba diving, horseback riding and martial arts.
Giving back to the community is also important to Dr. Bacon. She is a board member of LifeGift, a non-profit that works with organ and tissue transplants. Stacy A. Bacon MD also serves as a team physician for the local Waller rodeo.
