Stacy A. Bacon MD is a board-certified orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon
As a child growing up in San Antonio, native Texan Stacy A. Bacon MD had two goals – to become the best athlete and the best orthopedic surgeon she could be. Our Cypress orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon fulfilled her first goal by becoming an All-American in the 3000m run in track during her undergraduate education at Rice University. She also graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Bacon accomplished her second goal by studying to become an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She finished at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
For her four year orthopedic residency, Stacy A. Bacon MD attended the University of Colorado, where she received a leadership award for teaching. After residency, Dr. Bacon completed a foot and ankle fellowship at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas, under Jim Brodsky MD and John Early MD.
A board-certified orthopedic surgeon and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, she’s also a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.

Giving back to the community is also important to Dr. Bacon. She is a board member of LifeGift, a non-profit that works with organ and tissue transplants. Stacy A. Bacon MD also serves as a team physician for the local Waller rodeo.
